We all want to catch fish right?! Well of course, one of the most difficult things to do is catching bass. That’s why this is an important goal for a lot of anglers.
In my years of experience of trying to catch fish, I have found that catching big bass can be one of the most satisfying experiences. Hence, I will be sharing with you here my tips and tricks on bass fishing. Note that I have also included here some tips that I have learned from fellow anglers through the years.
Tip #1: Look for a covered area.
It is important to remember that it is quite difficult to catch bass fish out in the open. What you should do is look for a covered area such as rocks, lilies, boat docks and more. This is where bass usually hide themselves and hence it will be easier to catch them in these places.
Tip #2: Be mindful of the water temperature.
The water temperature has an effect on the activities of bass fish. As such, it is important to always consider it when trying to catch one. When the water is cold, it is important to use slower moving bait. When the water is warm, you should use more aggressive bait.
Tip #3: Check what the bass in your fishing area are feeding on.
Always be mindful of what are the available organisms in your area that serve as food for bass fish. Bass oftentimes like shad or bluegill but there are are times when they prey on bigger organisms such as baby ducks. By taking note of that, you will be able to determine what bait to use when trying to lure bass.
Tip #4: Always check the weather.
When trying to fish bass, always remember to check weather conditions. Bass are more active during overcast and cloudy days. So better to use aggressive lures during those days.
